So, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am extremely excited for the new Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter: World. I've been following this game closely, mainly looking for a PC release date (which hasn't been announced btw), and it seems like we're getting more out of this game than we originally thought. Capcom has officially announced that it plans on releasing free updates after the game's initial release, and these updates will be containing all sorts of new monsters. Not only that, in an interview with Mein-MMO (a German independent gaming magazine), the director Yuya Tokuda said that the core un-updated story mode should take anywhere between 40-50 hours to complete (depending on player ability/skill). Honestly, aside from Open-World games like Skyrim or Fallout 4, I don't know of any recent games with a story campaign lasting that long. Just imagine how long this would be after all the free updates they already confirmed would be released. All we can do now is wait and see if Capcom keeps their word, and hopefully, the PC version gets a little something extra for having to wait longer *hint* *hint* Capcom.
